Trails End Cottage
RIGHT ON THE BEACH!
Trails End is down a set of stairs from the parking area and Dogwood cottage. A peaceful beach cabin retreat nestled in large old trees and much greenery, private beach, expansive sky and the Salish Sea. The ocean waves lapping on the rocks right out your door and window. Lay down, sit back or rest against a log, or a lounger on the deck…or your own private hot tub.
Trails End has a full kitchen with anything you would need. Plus a propane BBQ, deck furniture includes table, chairs and 2 loungers. There is a split sleeping room upstairs with a queen bed and a solid custom wooden bunk with a single on top and double on the bottom. They are separated by a partial wall down the center of the room. A small 3 piece bathroom with shower stall, no bathtub. Linens and towels provided.
Unwind and surrender even further with a snooze, a good book, sunset bbq, beach fire, or wander along the beach collecting rocks as I always love to do. Don’t forget your camera, flashlight and binoculars!
Play games, puzzles, read, watch a movie, or explore tide pools at low tide with colonies of purple starfish and tiny crabs scurrying under the rocks. Lowest tides reveal sand to dig and play. A basket of beach toys are provided for the little ones or the child in you. Soothe your soul, empty your mind, calm your nerves, feel your entire body unwind. Breathe in the wind and waves with the rhythm of the ocean.
Contemplate life as you gaze out to sea. You never know what wildlife you may experience.
Enjoy peace as you soar with the eagles, glide with the otters, see our local seal who keeps popping his head up and the local blue heron…. or paddle with the seabirds. Visualize sliding under the surface with the seals. Lay back, curl up or soak in the outdoor hot tub.
Enjoy the best sunsets on the coast or storm watching with the ocean at your doorstep.
